About us

How we got here

It hasn't been long, but a lot fit inside it: a great deal lived, two families that grew close, and a house that became a house for three.

  1. He was only passing through

    November–December 2025 · Rio de Janeiro

    He was only passing through

    Raphaël was in Brazil for a while, staying at a friend's place. We saw each other whenever we could — and we made that as often as possible. There were dinners that ran into the small hours, a Flamengo match, Inhotim on our first trip together, Rock the Mountain, and endless dates spent properly getting to know each other. He met Bruna's family and friends. At the end of the year, he flew back to Europe.

  2. The Atlantic in between

    December 2025 – March 2026 · Rio, Paris, Reims, London

    The Atlantic in between

    We spent New Year's Eve on different continents. When Raphaël came back, he came straight to Bruna's place — and from then on everything grew closer: each of us got to know the other's family, the other's friends, and Sofia. There was carnival, glitter and a street block; Raphaël got to see Bruna's life in the middle of a Brazilian summer. Then it was Bruna who crossed over, to meet Raphaël in Europe and get to know his family and many of his friends. That was when we stopped being two separate plans and started deciding the next steps together.

  3. A house for three

    March–June 2026 · Rio de Janeiro and Araras

    A house for three

    Raphaël came to stay in Brazil for a good while. Several months in the house with Bruna and Sofia, and that was when Sofia decided he should stay — the two of them hit it off in a way you can't manufacture. We celebrated Raphaël's birthday, then Bruna's, then Sofia's. Raphaël met his father-in-law and opened up to Bruna's family. That was when we stopped being visitors in each other's lives, and realised we wanted to move on to the next chapter.

  4. Engaged

    From June 2026 · Paris, Minho, Douro, Algarve, Lisbon

    Engaged

    Raphaël asked. Not long after, we were in Portugal — us and our families — so they could meet, sit everyone at the same table, and go looking at places for the wedding. We took our time, enjoyed Portugal, got to know each other better, and finally chose the place. Now we're ready for what comes next.
