About us

How we got here

It hasn't been long, but a lot fit inside it: a great deal lived, two families that grew close, and a house that became a house for three.

  1. The beginning — from October 2025 · Rio de Janeiro

    It was only meant to be a few weeks…

    Raphaël had come to Brazil for a few weeks, staying at a friend's place. We saw each other whenever we could — and we did everything we could to make that as often as possible!

    There were dinners that ran into the small hours, a Flamengo match, our first trip together to Belo Horizonte with a day at Inhotim, Rock the Mountain and no end of dates, while we got to know each other better and better.

    He met Bruna's family and friends and, at the end of the year, flew back to Europe — but before he left, he still found time to get down on one knee and ask Bruna to be his girlfriend. A rehearsal for the next time he would ask! 😉

  2. The relationship deepens · Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Reims, Saint-Malo, London

    An ocean in between

    They spent New Year's Eve on different continents — because, apparently, starting a relationship with an ocean in the middle seemed like a great idea!

    When Raphaël came back to Brazil, he went straight to Bruna and Sofia's. Life as a three began to take shape, between time with family, evenings with friends and, of course, Carnival — quite the introduction to Bruna's world!

    Then it was her turn to cross the Atlantic, to find Raphaël again in Europe and meet his family and plenty of his friends. Between suitcases, goodbyes and reunions, the plans stopped being “mine” and “yours” and became, more and more, “ours”.

  3. Growing closer · Rio de Janeiro, Santa Teresa and Araras

    A house for three

    Raphaël came to spend a long stretch in Brazil, at Bruna and Sofia's house. Sofia gave her blessing almost at once for him to stay with them — and that was the approval that mattered most! The two of them built the kind of closeness you can't fake.

    There was Raphaël's birthday, then Bruna's, then Sofia's: no shortage of reasons to celebrate! He met his father-in-law and found his place in the family. And, being a gentleman who respects tradition, he made a point of telling Bruna's parents that he intended to ask her to marry him.

    And in Santa Teresa came the big question. Bruna was so overcome that Raphaël had to ask again: “Is that a yes or a no?” It was a yes! ❤️

    By then we were no longer just visitors in each other's lives: we were building our own.

  4. Getting the wedding ready · Paris, Minho, Douro, Algarve, Lisbon

    After the yes

    A new adventure began: making the most of a holiday and planning a wedding at the same time — because resting would have been far too simple! From Paris to Portugal, through the Minho, the Douro, Lisbon and the Algarve, the miles added up and so did the good moments, just the two of them and with family.

    It was in Portugal that their families finally met: together around them for the first time. Between outings, long tables and visits to possible venues, the plan slowly took shape. Until they found the place where all of it would become real.

    And now, only the best part is left: getting all of you together to celebrate with us! ❤️
